the rants

1.35pmI have to blog about this. Here's the politically correct version. It was a splendid North London derby match played this Saturday. Both sides had equal chances in the first half, but Arsenal dominated the second half with more chances and more complete passes. The wing backs were, as usual, fast and crisp in their running and passing. Though Arsenal's centreback was a makeshift one, we held on and beat Tottenham 3-1. The match had talking points of the on-the-line save by Gael Clichy. But otherwise, it was the lack of clinical finishing from Bent, Berbatov and Keane and probably the lack of concentration in their back four that cost them the game. I wish the manager all the best and may we see him again in our return derby at Emirates Stadium. Here's MY VERSION.What a trashing ! God ! The cheater team just got to complain when they "saw" Clichy "handled" the ball on the line. CMON ! Stop cheating and start playing football please. Ridiculous! Chimbonda wasn't even there defending to begin with. Their Lee something (Korean player) was taking pot shots like he was some kick-ass player... the best part was, Jenas thinks he can run thru GILBERTO and TOURE ?!?!?! CMON !!! This isn't last season. Jenas is a joke. Robinson was utter rubbish. But Arsenal, GOD. They played like champions (indeed they are the greatest club in the world). Adebayor's header was sharp and on target. Fabregas long shot was fabulous. And the final volley from the Togo international was just Henry-esque. We are indeed, firing from all cylinders. I can't wait to meet them at Ashburton Grove again. Prolly Jol will get sacked by then, and them in the relegation spot hahaha... 3 - 1 ladies and gentlemen...Final Score : Tottenham 1 - ARSENAL 3Scorers : Spurs - Bale 16m (lucky shitass of a goal)Arsenal - Adebayor 68m 92m, Fabregas 80mAnyways, went to Geylang to survey some stuff for Eidul Fitri celebrations (yeap its only 5 days since we fast...). The food was as usual, not lacking in any way. But the people, God. Was a hassle to walk. I dun like crowds. Surveyed furniture to replace the 4 year old "junk" at home :D. Trying to keep my to my measly budjet of S$300 (no comments about this please) but looks like I need to spend a little bit more. Also went to Joo Chiat Complex. I hav to admit, seeing couples choosing the baju kurung hit some emo spots in me, since that was the first time I set foot in there after that event. We broke our fast at Kembangan, of all places. I secretly prayed that I do not bump into anyone from there. Thank God for listening and granting that.I hav got to learn to live by myself again and got to learn it fast before it eats me up completely inside. Thank God for friends, mom, cocksterous sister, Arsenal...
